  13. I recently got a tapestreamer (VERY old model with BIG tapes!), an 'Interpreter Tapexchange'. It can be
  14. connected to a PC's parallel port, and I have the software for it. Problem is, I don't work on my PC
  15. (It just gets dusty...), so nothing to back up there.

  17. Since it can be connected via the parallel port, I am thinking of using it for my Amiga 1200. Problem is, they did
  18. not give me software for the Amiga!

  20. I opened the tapestreamer, and I think it's just a SCSI-device (standard 50-pins SCSI-like connector), with
  21. a separate print for the SCSI to parallel conversion. Sounds simple enough, but now the question:

  23. How can I control the device (preferably with parallel.device), what commands can be transmitted, how do I send
  24. them, etc. etc...?
